Author based in Atlanta, Georgia. My first novel, “Family of the Heart,” is available now at Charis Books, Amazon , and Barnes & Noble.

People are saying, [Kay's] writing is an autobiographical story of a fictional character. [She] captures the full experience of life through the eyes and senses of this highly developed person, who over the course of an engaging life, finely tunes her identity and relationships. She shares her wrestling with turmoil, mistakes and triumphs. Her life is an unusual mix of mystic beliefs and experiences and well-grounded sensibilities. She can be a harsh judge of herself and a forgiving soul for others, but is rarely fooled twice.

Intro

I tried my hand at my first novel in the sixth grade so writing is part of my DNA. "Family of the Heart," a novel, has been a work of love for many years so it is with excitement that I announce its publication. Three other novels are in the works. All of my novels are stories about friendships, families, love and community. I have also published numerous articles, both non-fiction and fiction.
